Introducing: The Lumineers

Introducing: The Lumineers

The Lumineers are a relatively new band; their self-titled debut album came out April 3, 2012. Their first single “Ho Hey” had previously been used in the season finale of The CW’s hit television show “The Heart of Dixie” and has gained momentum since then. The Lumineers don’t really seem to have one particular genre that they can be classified in.
'Identity Thief' a case of attempted comedy
Director Seth Gordon took a step in the right direction when producing “Identity Thief.” The commercials for this entertaining, action-packed, heartwarming comedy led viewers to believe it would be the comedy of the year.
Frightened Rabbit a bold sound
Scottish rock band Frightened Rabbit is anything but shy. In comparison to their earlier work, Frightened Rabbit dabbles in the darker side with their album “Pedestrian Verse.” Tracks such as “State Hospital,” “Dead Now” and “Backyard Skulls” are good examples of this. “Backyard Skulls” begins with a really powerful set of lyrics.
