After disappointing sales and low satisfaction ratings on student surveys, Magic Wok and Villa Pizza moved out of their Michigan Union locations and Bonici Brothers Pizza will soon leave the Michigan League.

Just a few miles from the corner of Michigan and Trumbull, Ernie Harwell received his fourth honorary degree from a university.
Harwell was joined by Wayne State alum and philanthropist Yousif B. Ghafari in being awarded the Doctor of Laws degree, honoris causa, on May 3 during WSU's 2008 commencement ceremony at Adams Field.
